Lance Reegan Diehl

Maniacal Cavern - This will mark the 12th studio album that Lance has produced.

And this will be the 29th record that he had recorded on, played, done session, or otherwise been a part of!!!

A vast under taking and culmanation of guitar parts and compositions that have been

brewing in the Artists head since 2018. It is all finally come together in 2023.

This recording has may guest playes on it. Taking risk, reaching further in harmonic

struture and time, has always been a personal flight, of bee like nature.

What does it sound like? :".....An endless flow of varying gestures, textures

and harmonic overstructures on a purely visceral level...."

Let's see what your ears think.

Lyrics for Maniacal Cavern

"Don't Look Back" - Lyrics

"Eyes on the present, and future. No regrets, don't look back......."

Written and arranged by - Lance Reegan-Diehl ©LRD Music

Really made my dream tonight
Over a hill and oh so close
Revolving winds and time of change
Make my way into the life.

Never ends this day and night
Over whelms my sense of truth
Took upon a heavy weight
And choose to lose this endless plight

Chorus:
Made of wonder
All is new
Let go of fears
Inside of you
Wait forever
Or dont stop
Dont look back
I heard them talk

What mountain flows without a river
Divided from the rocks and roots
Simply do and have the drive
The only way up is not so smooth.

It calls without any thunder
It walks on you day and night
It is a weight that can be lifted
It is my choice and make it right.

Peter Krasulski : Bass.

"Friction" - Lyrics

"When someone is doing the impossible.....do not disturb"

Written and arranged by - Lance Reegan-Diehl ©LRD Music

I never understood, how you find yourself.
Comments of ill thought to another.
Picking nauseous fruit.
From a vine covered in something that smells bad .
Your victory dance's on tippy toes.
Never made it past high school.
An it don't take a genius to know.

You don't even know your done.
Comin from something
that never took a chance
beyond it's own front door step.
The downtalk and the underhands,
never tires from all you all.
I am alone, and with the few,
as this is the road and path we walk.
Walls are closing in. On your life.
Hide in your convictions. Every night.
The eyes won't shut. Late at night.
You know it in your gut. And you live in fright.

Chorus:
Friction. Why ya givin me Friction
Friction. Why ya givin me Friction
Friction. Why ya givin me Friction
Friction. Why ya givin me Friction.

All your daring you hold other folks.
To some imaginary standard.
When your living in a house of cards.. Yourself.
Resort to lies and any kind of gas, to light your fuse.
The laughter echoes in the halls,
as the eyes roll over you.
On that high road, in my stride.
Not a wall, or pitfall in sight.
I be dreaming of that freedom day.
No I never , I will never change.

Ill charted sense. Of reality. It took to see.
You build a defense. Some truth I speak. Implicitly.

Rob Denni : Drums.

"Luna Glow" - Lyrics

"The moon is in everyone's life, look up......."

Written and arranged by - Lance Reegan-Diehl ©LRD Music

Long the journey thru the ages.
As he is drawn into her light.
In his heart the hunter, sowing what he saved.
Her insight, revelations. Sheltering the brave.

She gives and gives, revolving stages.
He needs her, and she needs him.
In her mind the darkness. He will never shake.
Life can move several paths. Which one will you take.

Dressed up in the stars this holy night.
Luna glow an oddly shared delight
Dressed up in the stars this holy night.
Luna glow an oddly shared delight.

Gather in the clearing, pointed at the sky.
Illuminating night time, with breath of firefly.
They are warm within the cavern.
Darkness drawn into the light.

They have hearts of wonder.
Pressure of their grace.
No harm will come to you.
Have a little faith.

Dressed up in the stars this holy night.
Luna glow an oddly shared delight.
It's a cornered mind that's ruled in fright.
Dressed upon this longest night of nights.

In his heart the hunter, sowing what he saved.
Her insight, revelations. Sheltering the brave.

Dressed up in the stars this holy night.
Luna glow an oddly shared delight
Her reflection Litha Luna shine
He yields and bows to her in time

"The One" - Lyrics

"What happens when a boy loses his Mom....."

Written and arranged by - Lance Reegan-Diehl ©LRD Music

Demons of the past. Ride behind the shadows
Feeling loss and fast. Outside the cast out narrows.
What was left behind to see. Is no longer a mystery.
Empty,….can't walk with thee. Inside the bitter truth.

Only now it's come clear to inherit destiny
Fables of youth are turned aside.
The teacher, the shelter, the one and all is gone.
To tumble in the breeze like two flower seeds again.
The first girl friend has come to pass.
No more time to walk hand in hand.
The teacher the shelter my friend to the end.

A silly laugh. The tears were shared.
Always there to listen. When it seemed there was no care.
A gentle hand. Placed upon curly hair.
It isn't fair, can't walk with thee. The bitterness of youth.

Only now it's come clear to inherit destiny
Fables of youth are turned aside.
The teacher, the shelter, the one and all is gone.
To tumble in the breeze like two flower seeds again.
The first girl friend has come to pass.
No more time to walk hand in hand.
The teacher the shelter my friend to the end, the end.
