Lance Reegan-Diehl (LRD)
Guitarist/Composer/Educator/Artist/Clinician
Lance Reegan-Diehl (L.R.D.) is a guitarist hailing from Vancouver B.C.
and an enduring talent in the music industry with his guitar work appearing
on several albums, and his own solo releases and L.R.D. Band releases.
His music work in and out of the studio is a testament to his talent and
affinity for creating magic and transferring it to the listener via the digital
and analog methods, live performances, and clinics. Lance is the epitome of the
indie artist with the necessary fortitude and drive to succeed in a competitive
market. He is the consummate musician, producer, clinician, businessman, and
an exampleto anyone that wants to succeed in the music industry.
The guitarists work has also appeared on several albums and singles over the
years. With over 28 albums under his belt as artist and as session player.
Lance incorporates an original unification of styles and ideas to create an
individual sound found in his music, sessions, and TV/movie spots. When he
is not hard at work in the studio, he is touring as a solo artist or in his
band L.R.D. globally. Being the headliner or in an opening spot for major
selling artists. As a studio session player he was involved in Korea's own
K-Pop music scene. Doing the studio work and performing guitar on
five (5) number one hits' from 2002 to 2009. BOA Kwon was probably the
biggest singer to come out of Korea, and for the first two albums LRD was
her guitarist. Lance has worked with Sony records Asia, EMI, SM entertainment,
TN Ent, Ivy Music, and over the years several corporations, and national
sponsored festivals. Lance is no stranger to Channel V spotlight, MTV, or
televised concerts in front of thousands. Lance has shared stages with:
Buddy Miles, THOR, Neil Turbin, Tommy Emmanuel, Michael Angelo Batio,
Vinnie Moore, Greg Howe, Mr. Big, among others.
Lance's inspiration has a foundation in music and spirituality. His belief
is to transfer his enlightenment through music and words. Lance is in a
perpetual state of creativity-writing, engineering, and producing other
artists while working on his new productions. This process allows continual
development to take hold and blossom for him and others that are fortunate
enough to be exposed and influenced by this rare far reaching knowledge.
Never one to stand still or find complete satisfaction with his efforts,
Lance continues to study and explore every type of music and recording
technique in order to improve and move his understanding and
interpretations to another level.
The L.R.D. Band : Lance Reegan-Diehl - Guitar/Vocals, along with Megan Kim
on Vocals, have kept the band intact, and performing for many years.
The band is an important outlet, as having a solid group to work with allows
for exposure and a broader audience appeal. Aside from the regular event
schedules the band has in Korea, they have performed at Japan Blues Festivals,
Taiwan Blues festivals, invited guests in Manila, and Jakarta. Guitar spotlights
include, Italy, Germany, France, Canada, U.S.A.,Endorsed performances at
Music Trade Shows, guitar clinics, NAMM Show, music venue bookings alongside
trade shows, these things have enabled world travel, all the while
emitting his own brand of guitar madness.
In addition to being the ultimate musical multi-tasking magician in the
studio and onstage, he passes on his gift as a music teacher and clinician.
Lance works from a place that has a strong foothold and understanding of
all aspects of music and how the listener perceives it. His lecture topics
include dealing with the music business, maintaining a repertoire, getting
along with people in very close quarters,and ultimately understanding the
